This French player is knows as “King”, this is his nickname, he was born in Paris in September 21st 1958. He likes to play around the world at the most important tables. But he’s not your normal high stakes pokoer shark. Bruno Fittousi worked as music producer before choose to start a new profession founding the brand Vip Gaming. Ge is still the President of that firm. His magazine could be easily found around Europe in many casinos, he has created and he run this magazine, called 52.
For the Entrepreneur he is not a pro poker player, but the results or Bruno can demostrate the opposite easily. In 2001 Fitoussi defeated the legent Amarillo Slim in thw World Heads-up Cahmpionship played in Vienna, Austria. He got about 100.000$ from that victory which was his first title.
He was put into the European Poker Hall of Fame in 2004 like many poker superstars like: Carlos Mortensen, David Ulliott, Surinder Sunar and Marcel Luske. This prize was more for his contributions to the increasing of fame of Texas Hold’em in France that for his talent at the green tables. An important creation of Fitoussi was the Aviation Club, where many poker talents and European top players come to ojin the team, important players like: Tony G, Joe Beevers, Ram Vaswani, David Benjamine and obviously the Boatman brothers.
In the year 2005 he made his forst appearence to a WSOP final table, reaching the second place in a 1,500 Dollars Seven CArd Razz event, earning about $70,000.
In 2006 he did another important final table, earning about $55,000 ending 5th in a $1500 Pot Limit event.
in 2007 he got his biggest winning at the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E: World Championship at he WSOP, facing 147 of the best poker players on the globe. After the 14 hours of the final table he almost won his forst bracelet endind 2nd loosing against Freddy Deeb, earning $1,278,720. ESPN schedule the event at that time, so Bruno Fitoussi put his name on the poker world map.
