David Benyamine and The Cash Games

David Benyamine is of of the most famous poker player in the world, he was born in Paris in France and then he came to United States to become a pro poker player. He has a daughter and he’s now engaged with Erica Schoenberg, which is another pro player.
Benyamine was a good tennis player when he was in his 20s, but cause back pain he was forced to retire from the tennis career finding something less stressful physically. After that he started to like and play billiard and in the end he found poker.

From France to Las Vegas: Benyamine

He started to know about poker in 1999, a friend of him worked ina poker club, so David started to play this amazing game. Since the begin of his career he tried to improve his skills and he think about himself as a fighter, he was able to play poker for many hours, long sessions of poker and also when the luck turns against him he continued to play also against the bad luck, no many players are able to that. He played a lot of cash games and he started to join tournaments and important events at the “Aviation Club” in Paris. After few year Benyamine become an incredible player. Isabelle Mercier was working at the Aviation Club at the time David played in that place, she asked him if he ever read a poker book and the young Benyamine replied that he have never read one and neither a poker magazine.
In 2002 he went to Las Vegas in order to play cash games. He got $4,000 Dollars in his pockets. His plan was to built up a bankroll up to $300,000 before coming back to France. Since that time he often come back to Las Vegas until he bought a house in Las Vegas.
In Las Vegas he likes to play at Bellagio’s tables in the “Big Game” a series of different games played by most of the stronger poker player of the world in the Bobby’s room. The limits of those tables were up to $4,000/$8,000. When David had got enough cash to play at that tables he didn’t miss the opportunity to play at those super high stakes tables.
