Phil Ivey is probably the best player in the entire poker circuit, he is famous for his unbeliveable aggressiveness displayed versus the other players at the tables. He has a curious nickname which is the “Tiger Woods of Poker” or another one dated up to his young boy life “”No Home Jerome”, this nickname was born when Phil just 17 usually play at the tables with a false ID. Phil Ivey is commonly described as one of the best tournament players in these years. He got his first bracialet in 2000 WSOP facing a stars like Phil Helmuth and the legend Amarillo Slim, knocking out both.
During WSOP in 2002 he won another 3 bracialets, in the same year he got few Bellagio turneys and also a World Poker Open event. In 2003 he co-founded one of the most important poker rooms, FullTilt Poker, where at the moment a lot of exelent players are playing.
He normally plays at the ultra High stakes on FullTilt Poker facing big names like Mike Matusow, Patrick Antonius and Jennifer Harmann.viously Phil Ivey plays all the most important tournament around the globe, especially the events in Las Vegas.
The year 2006 was a particular year for Phil, he got the second place in WSOP Circuit Event, he was able to get his 5th bracialet playing $5000 PL Omaha event. He had finished in the huge Montecarlo Millions Tournament and the day after he won the “FullTiltPoker.net Invitational Live” from Montecarlo, earning 1.600.000 dollars from these two events. Phil Ivey lives at the present days in Las Vegas “Sin City” Nevada with his wife which was his high school sweetheart. Everybrinody knows the face of this unbeliveable talent, his eyes, his quiet silence during the game and his extraordinary skills. Every poker player would be like him, but the reality is that there is only one Phil Ivey.
