I was just thinking about what my dream poker table would be. Who would I want sitting my my right and left. Would I want an easy table or a table full of icons. So after a good bit of thought, I decided I would rather lose money and have a great experience. Rather than sitting at a table of fish, where I would clean up.

So I start with the player directly to my left.

Seat number 1. Doyle Brunson. I thought about it and I don’t think you can have a dream poker table without Doyle. So I’ve also decide to give Doyle position on me, hoping as he’s old school, he isn’t as aggressive as some other players. Doyle Brunson has always been an Idol of mine. So it’s only fair he gets to sit next to me.

Next to Doyle. Phil Hellmuth. Phil goes on so much about him being the best player in the world. So I would love to prove him wrong by constantly stealing his blinds from the button. Plus, Phil would bring some entertainment to the table. I would have great fun winding him up.

Seat number 3. Gus Hansen. I have always been a massive fan of Gus Hansen. Gus was the reason I started playing poker. I should correct that. Gus is the reason I lost alot of money when I started playing poker. I used to watch Gus and thought if I was as aggressive as him, I would have no problems cleaning up at any table. I was wrong. So I feel I have bone to pick with him. Plus I would love to see the best loose aggressive player in action.

Now to seat number 4. Phil Ivey. Currently, in my opinion, Ivey is the best playing in the world. That’s been confirmed by him final tabling the WSOP main event, winning 2 bracelets and cashing 5 times in this years WSOP. So Ivey has to be at the table, and I also need position on him or I’m sure I won’t be there long.

So to my right. Seat number 5. Daniel Negreanu. I have always been a fan of the small pot poker strategy and Daniel is the best small pot poker player in the world. I would love to study him and try and learn from the master. Plus I hear he is a really nice guy. Hopefully that will make up for Phil Hellmuth being at the table.

And finally. Seat number 6. Gerry Poltorak. me. I am 100% sure I would get cleaned out. But boy would I enjoy the experience. With the highlight being pissing Phil Hellmuth off raising his big blind and then sucking out on him. Then listen for the infamous Hellmuth rant.
